FAQ

Does Emberville have controller support?
Yes, per the official Early Access plan, which lists both keyboard-and-mouse and controller support. Note the Steam store page does not yet carry a formal "Full controller support" badge — that flag typically lands at or near launch.
Does Emberville have Steam achievements?
Yes — Steam Achievements are listed as a feature on the official store page, alongside Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
Does Emberville have cloud saves?
Yes — Steam Cloud is listed on the store page, so your saves sync across your machines through Steam.

The short answer

Emberville launches with keyboard-and-mouse and controller support — the official Early Access plan lists both. The Steam store page also confirms three quality-of-life features: Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud (cloud saves) and Family Sharing.

Reading the details

  1. Controller support vs. the badge. The EA plan text promises controller support, but Steam’s feature box has not yet awarded the formal “Full controller support” flag — that usually appears at launch once the build is final. If couch play matters to you, test it in the demo first.
  2. Cloud saves de-risk Early Access. Balance patches during the ~18-month Early Access can shake saves; Steam Cloud plus manual backups is the safe combination.
  3. Achievements from day one. The achievements list should be visible on the community hub at launch — a nice early read on what the game expects from you in the Vitromotus.
  4. Family Sharing works. Households can share the one-time-purchase game across Steam accounts under Valve’s Family Sharing rules.

What is not confirmed

No Steam Deck verification claim, no Remote Play listing, and no detail on remapping or button prompts. The demo week (October 19–26) is the real test — controller behavior in your hands beats any store-page flag, and this page gets updated with tested findings after October 19.
