• Cloudflare — our hosting provider, which may process basic request data for security and performance (and serve cookieless Web Analytics when enabled).
• Google Analytics 4 — cookie-based usage measurement. It loads ONLY after you accept the cookie banner; if you decline, no GA cookies or requests are made.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics — cookieless analytics that collects aggregate page-view data (page URL, referrer, approximate device type) without cookies or personal profiling.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics (optional, cookieless) — when enabled, collects aggregate page-view data without cookies.
• Embedded videos (YouTube) — pages with videos load thumbnail images from i.ytimg.com and, after you press play, the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. Until you interact, no YouTube cookies are set.

Cookies

The site itself stores only your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser's local storage. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies ONLY after you accept the cookie banner — decline and it never runs. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Emberville DB is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
